It is with heavy heart that I have to announce that the trail north of Meridan Hill will be closed till further notice. There will be closed gates and you MUST NOT go around the gate to further anger the private landowners in the area. All landowners are watching us at this point. The trail Name is Blue Mountain Variety Trail which at the moment is CLOSED.

NEW REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS EFFECTIVE AS OF MAY 1, 2018*
*******NEW FOR 2018**********
“Effective May 1, 2018 (starting with 2018/2019) OHRV wheeled vehicle registrations will be broken out into member vs. non-club member rates; appropriate proof of club membership will be required at the time of registration for member rates.” Per NH Fish & Game Digest of Regulations...
What this means is that NHOHVA affiliated OHRV Clubs, starting in January 2018, will provide each of their members with a voucher and a unique club member ID# as Proof of Club Membership. This voucher and ID# will be required by Registration Agents to receive the lower club member rate.
When you join any of the NHOHVA affiliated clubs, those fees go directly to the club and the trails that we all enjoy riding.
If you choose not to join a club, the extra registration funds will go to Bureau of Trails, Grant In Aid program.
If you register multiple machines your proof of club membership will allow for the lower registration rate for each registration.
NHOHVA has built an online Club Membership Program that will help you join one or multiple clubs to receive a voucher that you can print and take directly to the Registration Agent.
New Hampshire Off Highway Vehicle Association and each of the affiliated clubs are thankful to the many volunteers, members and riders who support the maintenance and development of all the trail systems we enjoy!!!
WINTER RIDING 32* RULE DEFINITION
BE ADVISED... BECAUSE OF CONSTANT CHANGING TEMPERATURES AND TRAIL CONDITIONS NORTH COUNTRY ATV DEPENDS ON THE 32* TEMP. RULE DESCRIBED BELOW. WE BELIEVE OUR MEMBERS UNDERSTAND THE MEANING AND PURPOSE OF SUCH A RULE AND WILL IMPLEMENT IT TO IT'S FULLEST BENEFIT DURING QUESTIONABLE WEATHER CIRCUMSTANCES. THAT SAID, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO RESEARCH WEATHER CONDITIONS BEFORE HEADING OUT ONTO THE NCATV TRAIL SYSTEM. DO NOT ASSUME TRAILS ARE OPEN IF NOT MARKED "CLOSED". EACH NEW DAY WILL BRING DIFFERENT CIRCUMSTANCES... PLAN ACCORDINGLY...THANK YOU.
THE 32* TEMPERATURE RULE...
Before heading out to ride during the winter months, please make sure the temperature is at, or below 32*. The trail should be in a HARD/FIRM condition. This means, your machine is to leave little, to no impact. If the temperatures rise and trail conditions soften, creating a tire impact you should not be on the trail system and remove yourself. You should only return once the trails are hardened by cooler temperatures. Early morning riding, or later afternoon riding when temperatures are lower is suggested as trails are in better, firmer condition.
Check Facebook page www.facebook.com/NorthCountryATV for current updates before riding.
The Trail Administrator cannot express enough, for every ATV and UTV operator to use common sense when considering to ride. The temperature should be below freezing before you consider to head out on the trails. It is common knowledge that NCATV shares the trails with snowmobilers. Show them respect as they take care of all winter trail grooming!
