UPDATE ON TRAIL CLOSURES...
NCATV is once again at the peril of NEW HAMPSHIRE BUREAU OF TRAILS and their processing of submitted past reports and applications....
BUNTING PROPERTY... After a walk through with NHBOT and then photos sent to NHBOT on the dry condition of this section of trail, NCATV was notified by the NHBOT that they have a report of past usage submitted and are waiting for a response from Bunting's to allow trail usage for the 2017 season...Time frame to hear back? "within a week".... fingers crossed this comes to fruition...
This being NCATV's connector trail to Meridan Hill and on north to Metallak ATV's trail system.
CROSSING NORTH STRATFORD BRIDGE INTO VERMONT TO DABENVILLE'S STORE..... IS NOW CLOSED... REPEAT CLOSED....
Apparently, NHBOT'S District I Supervisor...while traveling Rte 3 north, noticed signage on the bridge allowing a permission of OHRV passage. NHBOT then informed NCATV to remove the signage immediately until the proper channels through VT's DOT and VTDMV. There is an application process which needs to be implemented before any approval can be made.
NHBOT also stated permission granted prior was for one weekend only for bicentennial?? (Debanville's Store had a 100th re-opening last weekend)...maybe this is what NHBOT is referring too? Your guess is a good as anyone's...
TILL THEN THE BRIDGE IS NOT OPEN AS A CONNECTOR INTO VERMONT, to access for food or gas... Again NCATV hopes to see this come to fruition in the near future.....
